This is a rate given to a bond by the investment bond agencies - including Standard and Poors, Moodys and Fitch. It’s the the highest rating available and means that the bond is very low risk and a very safe investment. On the positive side, this means that you probably don’t risk losing any money - but at the same time, you probably won’t make that much either.
