Chevrolet unveils new compact car
The new compact car is set to be showcased at the Paris Motor Show later this year before going on sale next year.
It features an arching roofline and sloping rear-pillars that create "handsome good looks", while the manufacturer has produced a 1.6-litre 112PS and 1.8-litre 140PS petrol models, as well as a 2.0-litre 150PS turbodiesel.
Wayne Brannon, executive director of Chevrolet Europe, said: "Chevrolet has always stood for expressive value, and Cruze delivers on that promise like never before."
The new car "redefines value", boasting "great style both inside and out", he added.
Environmentally-conscious car loan customers may be interested to know that Chevrolet has developed a new electric car.
The Chevrolet Volt is part of the company's overall efforts to design a range of vehicles that are more environmentally-friendly and less dependent on petrol.
