Super cheap stationery

When I was younger I used to love the annual start-of-school stationery dash. I regularly spent a small fortune on supplies, most of which I inevitably lost within the first week back.

However, if you need to stock up on paper, pens and pencils ready for September and don't want to break the bank, there are some super savings to be had.

WHsmith is offering up to 75% off back to school stationery, 3 for 2 on arts and crafts equipment and educational books for just £1.99.

Staples also has some fantastic in-store back to school deals, such as buy one get one free on files and ring binders, 2 for £1 on selected stationery and 4 for £1 on classroom essentials.

On the other hand, Ryman is offering super stationary packs such as 'The Student' for only £9.99. This pack includes highlighters, 10 ball point pens, lined paper and much more!

All you need for university

If you or someone you know is about to head off to the land of libraries, lectures and lager, here are some bargain buys that will help get university life off to a super start.

Back when I was getting ready to embark upon my further education adventure, I found Wilkinson fantastic for kitting myself out with the essentials.

You can pick up kitchen utensils, plates, pots and pans for just couple of quid. I also found Poundland a great place to buy odd bits and bobs.

The Tesco value range is currently offering some great deals on small kitchen appliances. You can get a toaster and kettle for under £5 each.

At Argos, you can bag a single duvet for £4.99, a double duvet for £6.99 and a set of pillows for just £3.99. Meanwhile, at Ikea you can choose from a selection of bed linen starting from as little as £1.99.

The last of the summer sales
