Active Brits 'enjoying greater danger'

Far from simply lazing in the sun, more than half of Brits on holiday plan an exciting activity, new research suggests.
A study conducted by private bank Cater Allen reveals just one in five people plan to do nothing during their break and 54 per cent intend to take part in activities such as scuba diving and white water rafting.
However, holidaymakers may want to ensure they have the best travel insurance option before jetting off on such active trips, as the bank's managing director remarks these active holidays can lead to higher cover costs.
Richard Dunn comments: "However, adventure style holidays can lead to potentially higher costs such as increased insurance, costs of adventure activities and fuel surcharges on long haul flights."
Last month, the Co-operative Bank commented that those who lost luggage at airports this summer could face high costs if they do not have travel insurance.
